Interview with professor John Bryant

There are all sorts of reasons to cut back on our wasteful lifestyles, but one of the most important ones is the environment. If the planet can’t keep up with our current level of consumption, we’re like one of those cartoon characters sawing off the tree branch we’re sitting on. A couple of months ago we were at an Arocha conference and had the opportunity to interview professor John Bryant, a geneticist from the University of Exeter. He talks here about the impact we’re making on the earth, what the consequences could be, and what we can do about it.

John Bryant is a geneticist and experimental biologist. He is a contributor to a new book, When Enough is Enough – A Christian Framework for Environmental Stability, and is the author of Introduction to Bioethics, and Life in our Hands – a Christian Perspective on Genetics and Cloning. You can read an interview with him here on the Christians in Science website.
