Also, any thoughts on how ethical BP is and how they are socially responsible?

I think it’s very disappointing, as it’s clear that it was cost-cutting that led to the spill. It was one of several incidents where profits had come before safety. Having said that, the cleanup operation was done well and they haven’t tried to avoid paying their fair share for the damage.
